Seoul Based barista Lee Gang-bin is creating a stir on Instagram.
With over 190 000 followers on Instagram this co owner of Café C.THROUGH in Seoul, Korea can spend up to an hour creating eating requested design abed a cold brewed cup of coffee.
Lee uses edible icing colors to create his cream art.
He Believes in coffee and that as Baristas they “are baristas making coffee, not just artists drawing pictures on coffee,” siting this as the reason for creating what he had dubbed “CreamArt” on cold cups. As coffee cools the flavor profile changes and Lee as a rule will “not make coffee that people cannot drink,”
Only three Cream Art Cups are made by Café C.THROUGH a day and cost up to R87.00.
