I have never been to Taste the Helderberg but came across this local foodie and wine affair scrolling my twitter feed and have been lucky enough to get two tickets to the event to be held on Wednesday, 15 June 2016 at The NH Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West .
Guaranteed to make you forget about the winter chills, who needs a man when you have more than 100 premium wines to quaff on and delicious wintery dishes from some of my favorite local chefs. Wines by the likes of Bilton, Ken Forrester Wines, Longridge, Lyngrove, Peter Falke, Somerbosch, Vergenoegd and Waterkloof Estate can this event happen tomorrow?
Limited tickets for Taste the Helderberg 2016 are available at the cost of R100 per person (cheaper than an Uber). The ticket includes a wine glass, you know the ones you use when your friends have broken every other Riedel (couch** Mr Price 6 for a R100)in the your apartment and the opportunity to taste some of the best wines in the country. Friends, family and possibly even work colleagues ( the ones you like) can arrive from 17h00 to 21h00 and are encouraged to come straight after work to make the most of #HumpDay.
Whilst we promote the consumption of all our delicious local Syrahs, Chardies and having a shimmy or two with the mooi mense. We do not advocate drinking and driving so why not take up The NH Lord Charles Hotel on their winter accommodation offering?
