Copenhagen-based photographerMikkel Jul Hvilshøj has deconstructed popular food dishes by showcasing them as a series of minimalist photographs. He unravels each ingredient and organizes them in a precisely arranged manner “to create images of minimalism and serenity, combining them with a dynamic, elegant, and luxurious feeling.” The dishes range from simplistic in nature – like fried eggs and pasta – to more elaborate in their composition, as is true with his bouillabaisse presentation.
