It’s that time of year again, when Eat Out calls on all food lovers to post reviews of their favourite restaurants in a bid to determine the 2017 Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Best Everyday Eateries.
“For the third year running, we are looking to the star ratings – for food, service and ambience – by the Eat Out audience to determine the Best Everyday Eateries in South Africa.”
says Anelde Greeff, editor-in-chief of Eat Out.
In a change from last year’s voting system – this year will also enlist the help of Eat Out critics (unconfirmed)who will visit each of the restaurants that receive high enough scores from the public in order to review them and give a star rating.
Final scores will be based on a 50-50 composite rating determined by the public and the critics.

Best Bistro
Best Burger Eatery
Best Coffee Shop
Best Country-Style Eatery
Best Indian Eatery
Best Italian Eatery
Best Seafood Eatery
Best Steakhouse
Best Food Truck
Best Tapas Eatery
Best Mexican Eatery

For your chance to have your say, you have until 31 August 2017 to visit eatout.co.za to rate and review the restaurants you have visited recently. For each review posted,
Eat Out will also pledge a meal for a hungry child through Stop Hunger Now Southern Africa.
The winners of the Best Everyday Eateries will be announced in two separate events – one in Cape Town and one in Johannesburg in October 2017.
