Jason Bakery has become an iconic institution and coffee stop for many local, international visitors and communicators in Cape Town.
With the current LockDown situation in South Africa, keeping one store afloat and paying rent and other expenses is hard enough with a singular shop.
We will miss the Bree Street Branch but not all is lost as Jason Bakery Green Point will remain open

“We are a Brother and Sister owned and operated Artisan Bakery situated in Cape Town South Africa.
Our doors first opened as a ‘hole in the wall’ in 2007 in Bree street and we expanded into the space we have now in 2011.
Most people have absolutely no idea what goes into making a loaf of Sourdough, or a bagel or the “humble” croissant.
Humble nothing.
When it comes to true craftsmanship, a croissant is anything but… That little mofo actually takes three days to make.
It doesn’t have to take three days but what sets Jason Bakery apart is an unwavering commitment to an authentic production process.”
