The ultra-contemporary open-plan building, with its elegantly curved roof, was designed by architect Gregg Goddard with interior design by Simoné Henckert and is a modern landmark on the banks of the Klein River lagoon.
It houses four double suites with private bathrooms and terraces and generous living areas with expansive wooden decks and a heated infinity swimming pool. With deep sofas and shaded views of the lagoon, the house invites total relaxation to immerse yourself in nature, watching the birds and breathing the scented fynbos.
Perivoli is fitted with a wood-burning fireplace and powerful, eco-friendly pellet stoves, as well as ceiling fans and insect screens, geared towards year-round comfort. The kitchen is state-of-the-art, leading to spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas with a covered BBQ station, and well-known Stanford chef Madré is available by prior arrangement for catering.
Perivoli is a natural hideaway with wide-open areas and amazing views located on 140 hectares, which is being designated a nature reserve.
It is the ideal backdrop for quality time spent with friends and family where kids of all ages are welcome. Inside the remote wilderness, a myriad of adventures and activities await, from guided fynbos walks and beach excursions to nearby Walker Bay Nature Reserve to birdwatching, mountain biking and canoeing.
In order to make full use of the unique lakeside venue, guests at Perivoli have access to a speedboat that
lends itself to water sports such as water skiing and tubing as well as fishing.
Yoga baskets, in-room massages and lounging around the beautiful swimming pool provide more enjoyable pursuits.
On the doorstep waiting to be explored, is the surrounding area of Stanford and Hermanus. The region has received global acclaim for local culinary gems that include award-winning restaurants, craft breweries and cheeseries, as well as wine estates.
