The Rocking the Daisies festival is now on its third and final phase of ticket sales, available for R995 including VAT and booking fees (camping not included), available via www.RockingtheDaisies.com.

Performing on the CAN DO! Main Stage are The 1975 (UK), Russ (US) and Tash Sultana (AUS), who will now be joined by UK rappers Giggs and IAMDDB, US artists Earth Gang and Smino, along with South African hip hop superstars Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C, and Sho Madjozi and Shekhinah.

 Jay Prince (UK), BenjiFlow (UK), Austin Millz (US), Santi (NG) and Tay Iwar (NG) are headed to South Africa for  CAN DO! Is Rocking the Daisies 2019 and CAN DO! In the City 2019!

Also announced as playing at the festival are DJ SpeedstaDJ DimplezJ MolleyBCUCKyle WatsonMi Casa and DJ Shimza.

BCUC are fresh off of their highly acclaimed debut performance at Glastonbury Festival (UK). In May the band released their new album The Healing, described by The Guardian (UK) as, “Exhilarating.”

Last week, Beyoncé  Knowles released the official tracklist for her curated The Lion King soundtrack, The Gift. Busiswa features on the album on the track ‘My Power’, representing SA alongside Moonchild Sanelly. 

The week ended with the exciting news that fans can expect a new Distruction Boyz banger in the upcoming weeks, titled ‘Sinenkani’ which means, ‘we’re stubborn’. You can also expect new music from multiple artists across both festival line-ups, as the likes of The 1975, Sho Madjozi, Nasty C and more have confirmed that new songs and albums will be arriving before the end of the year.

American rapper, songwriter and producer Russ is confirmed as the second international headlining act for Rocking the Daisies 2019.

In 2018 Russ became a platinum-selling artist and household name after the success of two tracks, ‘What They Want’ and ‘Losin’ Control’, from his no-feature debut album There’s Really a Wolf, which sold over a million units in the United States alone.

Russ has gone from Soundcloud sensation to blowing up the stage at Coachella 2018, and will now head to South Africa for the first time to perform live at Rocking the Daisies.

Rocking the Daisies 2019 - the 1975

British pop rock band The 1975 as the first international headlining act for the 2019 event.

The 14th edition of South Africa’s biggest three-day music and lifestyle experience will be taking place from 4-6 October at Cloof Wine Estate, Darling, and Daisies will mark the first time that the band performs in South Africa.

Consisting of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matthew Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald and drummer George Daniel, the band shot to fame in 2013 after the release of their highly acclaimed self-titled album, which included the hits ‘Sex’, ‘Chocolate’ and ‘Robbers’, all of which topped UK charts.

In November 2018 the band released their third studio album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, to critical praise, making it their third number one album in the UK. Fans are gearing up for the release of their fourth album Notes on a Conditional Form, which is expected to drop in May.

The 1975 kicked off 2019 with two BRIT Award wins for best British album and best group, with major festivals around the world announcing the band as their official headliners, from Reading Festival, to LeedsSzigetBBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend and more.
