What I’ll be wearing to the Cintron Pink Polo

What I'll be wearing to the Cintron Pink Polo 11

Acclaimed as one of South Africa’s most reputable events on the Western Cape’s social- and polo calendar.

The prestigious Cintron Pink Polo returns for its 8th consecutive celebration that brings special emphasis to Breast Cancer Awareness on Saturday 4 November 2017.

Unmatched by any other, this highly commended Polo with a Purpose pursuit will be hosted on South Africa’s leading wine- and polo domain; the immaculate Val de Vie Estate.

With a Luxuriously African, Polo Chic theme collaborating with Brendan Sturrock & Amanda Laird Cherry, who recently opened a space in De Waterkant called Now Showing (THE SPACE’s first out of mall atelier), a collaboration simply seemed seamlessly organic. ALC Menswear is also available at AKJP in Kloof Street.

As the adage goes “the rest is history”

Brendan for ALC MENSWEAR:

The closest I could suggest is the below twin set in a red and white stripe (which kind of reads as pink) – called the Thebe wrap shirt and Philani wrap pants.

I love this set and have one myself actually. Caused quite a stir when I rocked it at the Durban Tech Graduate fashion show. It is now available in stores after showing it at SA Menswear Week.

The Cebo short sleeve shirt is a nice easy wear.

The Tebogo long sleeve shirt has interesting details such as an asymmetric hemline, semi detach collar, deep pleat on the back and an interesting button and cuff.

The Olwethu pants are in a 100% linen… Lastly we would top it off with the pink FEZ hat from Simon and Mary’s collaboration with Trevor Stuurman.

This styled together with the above pink pants and short sleeve pink shirt to resemble a “lobby boy” in uniform, which could be quite quirky.

The rest, ladies, gentleman and those of you who are undecided is to be fitted and for you to pop into the VIP Lounge at The Cintron Pink Polo, Saturday, November 4th and let me know your thoughts.

Chin, Chin.
