Die Laaitjie

Die Laaitjie is tucked away in the mountains, at the base of Arangieskop, about 7km from Robertson on the Dassieshoek Road. It consists of 330 ha of fynbos and hiking trails, waterfalls, rock pools as well as four dams – a bird watchers paradise. The area is also popular with local trail runners and mountain bikers who love the pristine nature of the mountains. The curious name is from when one family owned most of the area, and as the smallest of the farms and last in a row, they named it from the ‘tag’ game where the prize is hidden in a tiny drawer.

The Riverstone House | Wolseley

Orchard Stay | Wolseley

Tierhoek Organic

Each cottage is fully equipped and elegantly furnished with a private pool, wide verandahs, indoor and outdoor fireplaces and breathtaking views.
Tierhoek Farm, along with sister farm Spaarkloof Farm, is a working organic fruit farm. Here you will find apricots, plums, lemons, quinces, mangos, olives, kale and tomatoes. There is also an abundance of wildlife – klipspringers, baboons, porcupines and Jackal Buzzards and you may even hear the call of the leopard in the mountain.
