Delheim Fondue & Jazz

Delheim is situated just outside the City of Oaks – in the Simonsberg sub-region of the Stellenbosch Wine Routes – and has been a home for generations since 1699.

Here, the Sperling family has made award-winning wine since the 1960s and it is in the hub of these wines with low ceilings and intimate tables where jazz acoustically permeated the air over a cheesy Gruyère and Emmentaler fondue lunch.

With a simple soup and gluwhein served on arrival, guests are encouraged to mingle with other communal tables and indulge in dipping a large sirloin steak, grilled medium and some country style veg.

Jazz at Delheim’s Fondiue and Jazz lunches is performed in collaboration with the Cape Town Music Academy (CTMA) and Jazz in the Native Yards.

All jazzed up, this renowned winter indulgence of cheesy delight, wine and live jazz performances will take place, each Sunday from 24 June to 26 August.

Perfect for a simple family lunch and a beautiful drive too boot.

Price: R 350 per person

includes glühwein on arrival, the music entertainment (band cover charge) and the fondue (with bread and vegetables). Note that all starters, meats and desserts will be charged extra.
